DXTG Tech Tool provided by DataViz for users of their
Documents To Go (DTG) products.
Best way to easily move DTG components between RAM and SD Card. Can save approximately 4MB or more of precious RAM space without any loss in DTG functionality. Simply install on your Treo (in RAM or on the Card), launch, and follow the simple instructions.
Note: You will need to use this tool again to move the application to the SD Card after a DTG upgrade. We suggest running it on a regular basis to recover additional RAM, especially if you often switch away from DTG without first returning to the main menu.

ghostofcain: Invaluble, shifts the program files to SD freeing memory, I have had no problems and saved files could be moved to SD or ram from within DTG anyway

Question:
Does Documents To Go support expansion card technology?
Answer:
Documents To Go supports the storage of the Word To Go, Sheet To Go, and SlideShow To Go applications on removeable memory, such as SD Cards and Memory Sticks, as well as any file.
Due to inherent limitations of the Palm OS architecture, Documents To Go will actively copy the application and the file to the main memory when launched. When the file is closed, the application and file will then be transferred back to the card. You also need to be aware of the following:
- 1. The copy process takes some time. Open a file from a card that needs an application on the card will cause a noticeable delay when loading and unloading from memory.
- 2. There must be enough free main memory on the device to hold the application and file being transferred.
- 3. The file and application will only be transferred back to the card, if the "Done" button is tap and the file is closed on the device. It will not be transferred back if you simply leave Documents To Go without first closing the file (i.e. tap the Home button and launch another application).
- 4. Files stored on an expansion card can be synchronized with your desktop computer.
Usage Note: unfortunately, both Documents To Go and the LexSpell spelling checker use the same dictionary name of "English_Am.lex.pdb". This program will not be able to resolve that conflict.
