CardReader allows to use Palm-powered handhelds as an ordinary USB card reader for quick and easy file exchange. It has the unique ability to export the card in the background mode allowing you e.g. to transfer MP3s simultaneously with web browsing.
johnnyzero: Cool piece of software, but... I have a problem when using it in Bluetooth FTP mode whereby it does not show all files on the SD card. In some cases, it displays only some of the files in a given folder; for other folders it shows no files. This problem only occurs when using Card Reader's Bluetooth FTP mode; in USB Mass Storage mode it works fine and all files are visible.I've contacted Mobile Stream via email about this, but so far haven't heard back from them. We'll see...
jgumphress: The best app I have ever purchased. Touch its icon and it goes right into flash drive mode. No longer do you have to take you SD card in and out. This is especially great on the Centro where the battery door is so difficult to remove just to access the card. Use your Palm as a flash drive, load or remove items from you card, view all of the Palm folders or load pictures and videos right to your Palm multimedia folders without going through HotSync.
RuthTreo: This is a A1+ piece of software. Really is good. Small memory footprint, fast running and so far totally robust (on 680). Works with an 8G card - enabled my Sony Viao to read the card which it wouldn't using conventional SD card reader. Only one little quibble is over the licensing. Seems to need to dialup somewhere if you need to re-input the license (due to another program crashing the phone!)
griffinca: Small install on your handheld and now the memory stick in the handheld shows as a normal USB drive on your desktop. Great product at a good price (about $12). Thanks.
dubb: works on my treo 680, i have an 8gb card
lunigma: This works great on my Treo 755P, there is a newer version on the official website
pranamd1: The same SD Card I use with my Treo 680, I also use to store documents for school. Constantly moving the card between my computer and my phone is more than a hassle -- it's dangerous. Right now, my card has a fairly large crack in it - the damage is only physical right now and has no bearing on the performance of the card, but with continued use in this manner, it would be only a matter of time before it became unusable. I'm sure it's pretty obvious why, to me and others like me, this program is an absolute necessity. I will definitely buy it once I have some money!
zaizan: great product......it's really handy and useful...shame it's only trial version
