In preliminary testing the Sprint PCS Treo 650 system update (ROM v1.08 / PalmOS 5.4.7) appears to address all "Out of Memory" and crashing issues as well as providing other benefits for Treo 650 users. The developers suggest all customers upgrade to this new release of the Treo system software

bliipfert: After having trouble with all other Backup Apps on MyTreo, I was finally able to get a good backup on my Treo 650 with a bloated AddressBook. Thanks!!!
druss: I just downloaded it and backed up my Treo 650. It was quick! No problems encountered. I have yet to restore though. This one is a keeper, I will be registering it ASAP.
dutchtrumpet: This software has problems as the dynamic memory heap decreases. Backupbuddy VFS is much more consistent. These comments pertain to the 650.
Ski Bum: I had not tried any other backup software, but after using this, I feel there's no need to.
I had to get a T600 replacement unit and BackupMan created a "clone" to my original in under a minute, using the restore function. I registered it immediately thereafter. The best and most important $10 I ever spent for a handheld add-on.
The auto-backup features are something that I don't think I could live without. This one's a "NO BRAINER"

Changes and Updates since v2.1:
- Added option to extract a backup set's contents to a folder on the expansion card
- Added option to Tools->Advanced menu to automatically clear NVFS cache after backup completes
- Added option to Tools->Advanced menu to manually clear NVFS cache
- Added option to Tools->Advanced menu to remove deleted records in PIM databases (can be used to fix some situations where HotSync will freeze after a restore)

- When performing a full restore the device's date and time is now set to the date and time of the backup set being restored. This prevents a possible situation that can delete backup sets from the expansion card when the date is reset.

- BackupMan will once again circumvent device security to run backups even if the device is "Off and Locked"

Important Information for users of BackupMan v1.x
Delete any previous installations of BackupMan on your device prior to installing v2. We strongly suggest using the built-in application launcher's delete facility.
Backup sets created with v1.x are NOT compatible with BackupMan v2.x.
BackupMan 2.x requires a new license and a new registration code.
