Apt 2.0.3 (for Palm OS)
Apt (formerly known as "Per App Prefs") is something of a mix between a preferences application, a button launcher and a macro program. The most distinguishing feature from other applications is that almost everything it does is on a per-application basis. The combination of per-application settings and arbitrary combination of events and responses leads to a tool that lets you customize control of your device to your heart's content.
Note:The Full Version of Apt is now Freeware; the lite version (Aptlite) has therefore been deleted

rtortolini: I ran this on my treo 680 and went through the tutorials on the wiki. I is not compatible and does not work at all (yes it was enabled). Plus the learning curve is a step-function and impossible to learn. Don't waste your money on this looser.
arcangel59: This is an *excellent* app that really opens up the control you have over your Palm OS device. It allows you to do things ranging from mapping multiple apps to your hardkeys, to the phone responding to certain events, like inserting or removing the SD Card--for example you could have assign a particular app to load, every time a card is inserted. You want this.
volkerW: Its heaven for everyone who wants to tweak the UI. A programs misses a shortcut to certain functionality, just a assign it to a Hardkey (or any other buttonor stroke). Just want to show your photos always very bright, all the other application shoud be dimmer, and dim even further it you touch anything: no problem. For those who known eventorient programming: most events can be captured and be to do something else. But with a very intuitive interface, no coding, on a application by application basis. Not every function works on every program, depends if the respective programmers used the standard-methods or not. Highly recommendable.
hezahonker: This is fabulous. Having it's stability issues still on the Centro but for anyone who is into creating macros and controls this is a dream come true! Most of the stability issues revolve around the users so read the manual and you will be very happy you did. Some may be scared off by it's power but don't let it fool you. It is easy to learn. Just follow the manual in the zip file for examples. I highly recommend this.
nepacsman: Slight learning curve to figure it out, but once you do, the sky truly is the limit on what this application can make your device do. Plus it has a very tiny footprint relative to its capabilities. If you like to customize, or you have an application that you want to tweak, this is the application for you. Works flawlessly on my 755.
