It makes working with contacts really comfortable and offers an easy-to-use user interface.
gasmansz: Wow, as of July 3, 2008 there is a new version and it ROCKS. Go to the developers web site. I have a treo 755p and navigation is easy and effective!I have used tealphone until now but i must say farewell to tealphone now.

Please tell me how I can get a refund. I downloaded the trial version and thought for the money it looked like a neat program. But navigating on my Treo 650 is a nightmare. First, I should be able to type the first few letters of a name such as my family name (i.e. par) and then scroll through the listings that begin with that combination. But with Address XT you cannot. This is cell phone 101. Second, trying to get back to the main dialing screen from Address XT once you begin to use it is impossible since it uses the green dial screen button to actually dial the phone number. You have to go through several combinations of buttons to accomplish what should be a simple task. I find the navigation of Address XT counterintuitive and the compatibility with Treo's 5-way navigation button less than adequate.
TreoRenegade: I ignored this app for months, as I was turned off by the picture. But when I dumped Agendus Pro in favor of DateBk6 (preview release), I desperately needed a contacts app. I own TakePhone, but it's too faithful to the core db's (lookup) appearance for my taste. That pushed me to try Address XT. I was hugely surprised by the wealth of customization and features available, including linking, coloring, etc. I configured it for single line list view, using hi-res "small font" view (with largest bold font)- giving me the Agendus appearance I was so used to. Address XT is super stable on my Treo 650 (GSM/Cingular ROM 1.17), and also integrates beautifully with DateBk(x). You really can play with the UI to feed your personal needs/desires. Outstanding contacts app!

johnpaul9r: Not a big difference from this and the built in contacts. UI is cheesy.. i personally like EasyAddress PE 2.0. It has alot more features and its alot better looking .
