What is 2Cool4U at the moment?
A new way to access your contact list (currently in BETA stages), similar to the scrolling method of the popularized iPhone.
How will it mature?
In future it will also include a launcher part.
How cool is this?
Wipe through your contacts list with your thumb/stylus
Press a key and have it jump directly to the first matching contact
Tap the contact entry and be able to easily choose all numbers with your thumb/stylus
Have special buttons to call up the browser, email or message app
Anyone with a fax application? One tap will send a fax to the stored fax number

Please note that 2Cool4U requires the latest version of pnoJpegLib for PalmOS (v2.13), which is available for download here from mytreo.net, as well as in the 2Cool4U zip download.

southwestroadboy: this software is nothing but crap. i cant pick my number with this one. i have alot of contacts and i need to dial the right one. golden horn use button fix app to fix the screwed up phone button. the same crappy software did me that way.
KillerKellerjr: Seems to work well mostly but I can't hangup calls that are initiated with 2Cool4U on a Treo 700p (have to soft reset everytime) so I still have Touchbook as my default until 2Cool4U fixes this issue. Please MetaViewSoft fix this issue, its been 6 months since any updates, this is apparently a problem with lots of users.
kokona18: The pictures for my contacts don't appear .. any ideas? I have a treo 650
drift7: Great app but same thing as others would not allow me to hang up calls and not lock the key pad. Installed in a 755p. Please update this i really like this app.

moorescaled: interesting interface BUT would not let my 700p hang up had to restart everytime. also very limited categories, ie does not show multi numbers for each contact doesn't say home, mobile, work...

MaxLaw: Shareware...that I thought was so cool (is that still a word?) for my Treo 680 that I donated. Now it is up to version 0.99, almost out of Beta. Like the additional changes in this version.Good work, Mr. Jonas.

- Settings - Assign to button: first click it will assign 2c4u, second click it will allow you to chose another app to assign.
- Settings - Contacts - 2nd Line: select what to show in the second line in the scroll list.
- Menu - Remove Doubles: firs attempt to remove doubled entries. Atm, entries must also have the same layout in memory (I guess, you need to know about the way the contacts DB is stored to understand it.), means there might be doubles which aren�t found with this function. Will be improved later on.
- Menu - Dial Pad: access to the system�s dial pad.
- When in call log and you have a number without associated name, 2c4u let you add it to the contact DB.
- When more than one email address, it will pop up another selection window.
- Number selection and email selection windows can be dismissed by tapping outside the window.
- A lot of bugs (e.g. scroll to name) fixed�

- Better support for jumping to entries using the keyboard (the entered text is shortly displayed in the bottom row)
- There is an option on some devices which number should be displayed in lists, 2c4u takes it into account for speed dialing.

- Private records can be shown or hidden depending on the security options
- Colors can be adjusted and the result is saved on the device. Look for �Color_2C4M� database and if you think you have something cool, don�t hesitate to publish it.
- The call log has a lot of features to make it a dynamic favorite list.
- You can use the 5-way left to bring up the call log and right to go back to the contacts.
