berm: Is there any way to make this timer sound an alarm when it is done?

iiivix: Handy, useful, and easy. Tap and drag to set seconds, minutes, hours, etc. the only drawbacks are that I could not figure out how to make it colorful like it shows, AND, more a limitation with Palm OS, is that your device, once it turns off, only polls for alarms every minute. This means that at worst, your alarm may be as much as a minute late. That only happens if the timer is set long enough for your device to turn off. Would make no difference on a roast, but could matter on a pressure cooker.
