Recently I've had the opportunity and pleasure of being a guest on t4show's weekly podcast with Michael Manna. Michael is a former Palm user who has lost his true path and is currently using an iPhone. Through continued guest spots, I hope to help Michael eventually see the light and return to Palm.

In Episode 53 we discussed

  • Twitter
  • Being a Palm user
  • The state of Palm
  • mytreo.net and centrosite.com forums
  • Bricking the 700p with the MR
  • What makes the Centro so great
  • The difference between the CDMA (Sprint) Centro and the GSM Centro
  • Sprint may have little teeny tiny minor billing issues, but they still have the BEST prices
  • Sprint SERO plans
  • CTIA
  • Jott
  • The massive numbers of third party applications available for Palm os
  • Top ten Palm applications
  • Evernote

In Episode 54 we covered

  • More Twitter
  • The big T-Mo purchasing Sprint rumor
  • Dial2Do versus Jot
  • Simulscribe as PhoneTag and Voicemail in general
  • Flirting with text messages
  • mytreo.net's huge fire sale
  • Why Michael should guest on the msmobiles.com podcast
  • Duck feet

I have been a Palm user since 1998. My Treo 600 was the best and most stable pda/mobile phone I have ever used, and I include Motorola and Nokia. I recenty purchased a Treo650 for the bluetooth benefit, what a disappointment. This phone continually resets itself at least 5 times a day. I have tried everything from packing the sim card to hard resets. The phone now resides in my bedside draw. Sorry no more Palms for me.
