Why wouldn't Palm use an open source system like the one designed into the OpenMoko? They could leverage the power of the Opensource community!
OpeMoko have HW, but what the heck! They (FIC in tw) will not be threatening Palm anyway.

The reasons they gave to reject Android is so lame... just comparable to the decision to get rid of the OS. Palm's CEO is a shame and the performance of the share just confirm that:
March 30th 2007: $18.13
Jan 24th 2008: $4.85
BTW: Great move to close the Palm stores... it was a great impact on the value of the share (-3%).
When Cold-igan get done with Palm the company will be cold-dead!
