or Skyfire is a free, downloadable browser for Windows Mobile smartphones currently in closed beta that may provide the first better-than-iPhone Internet experience. According to the developer, "Anything you can browse from your PC, you can browse from your mobile phone."
Skyfire is supposed to enable users to watch web video, listen to music, stay connected on any social network and browse almost anything you want. This includes full audio, video, images, dynamic Flash content, QuickTime, advanced Ajax, and Java. The browser displays webpages in miniature form, just as on an iPhone, and allows you to zoom into any area with a quick movement of your stylus.
Because the developer is tightly controlling the beta testing, some bloggers are speculating Skyfire is vaporware. However, the company recently release a video on YouTube (visible above or click here) that suggests it's real.
