About the only thing I didn't love about my Centro from the first moment I saw it was the slippery feeling. One night when a text message came in, vibration caused it to slide right to the edge of my bedside table!
As usual, I didn't have to wait long for a Treo community manufacturer to produce an attractive solution. Seidio's Superslim Hybrid case is exactly what I needed. The case combines Seidio's Crystal and Rubberized cases in such a way that makes me happy with both the look and feel of the Centro.
While I loved the Superslim Rubberized case on my Treo 700p, I want the beautiful red on my Centro to be visible…but with some "grippiness." The hybrid case gives me that plus some basic protection.
It's no surprise that the fit of the hybrid case is perfect. Seidio has been developing Treo cases for a long time. In fact there are more than a hundred variations of Seidio products for Treo smartphones.
The cutouts are tooled to align flawlessly with the camera in the back, volume keys and IR port on the sides, and power/headphone inputs on the bottom. The fit from front to back is so precise that if you put a piece of paper between your Centro and the hybrid case, the case will no longer close – the fit is that perfect.
Both Seidio's hybrid and crystal cases have the identical front piece. While I felt that Palm's equivalent (Air Case) was a little on the bulky side, Seidio's is appreciably thinner. That said, while Palm's Air Case is shallow around the keyboard, Seidio's cases form a "lip." If you are a nail typist like I am, this won't bother you, but if you are a flat thumb typist, this could get in the way when trying to press the keys closest to the edges.
If you want a case that showcases your Centro, the Superslim Crystal case is definitely what you want. If you want one to will provide a little grip and still show off your Centro, I highly recommend the Superslim Hybrid. Both of these case will provide protection against scratches and dings and both look great. Of course, both will allow you to use Seidio's Innodock comfortably and without removing them.

I'm curious to know whether a full-body shield from InvisibleShield would affect the fit adversely?
JordanP says:
You didn't mention their SKIN case, which removes all the slipperyness, yet has zero bulk.. it's a tight fitting skin that goes perfectly over the Centro... I believe it only comes in black or black though, so other color users would probably not like them.

Liz - the fit is that tight that you can't use the Invisible Shield full body shield under the hybrid or crystal case!
Jordan - there is a review of the skin case and rubberized holster in the works. Stay tuned! :)

OK, it's cool...now where do we buy it?
Alli says:
Right now you can get them from seidioonline.com, but they'll be in the mtdn store soon. :)
