CTIA 2007 : Microsoft press event - EXCLUSIVE video report
During CTIA 2007 in San Francisco last week, Microsoft organized a press event where only journalists (such as Ryan Block from AOL-owned Engadget) and representatives from handset partners (including HTC, Palm, i-Mate, Motorola and Samsung) were present.
Here is the mytreo.net / msmobiles.com exclusive recording of the event! (We did not notice anybody else filming it.)
The presentation is begun by Scott Horn from Microsoft (first person on the left hand side in the photo below). The other two seated on the podium were: Michael Woodward (second from the left, Vice President of Business Voice & Data for AT&T) and Steve Moore (all the way right, President / COO of Enterprise Mobile Inc.).
The presentation focused largely on Microsoft’s announcement of its upcoming System Center Mobile Device Manager, which will be available in 2008 and provides enterprises with enhanced security and remote control of employee devices, as well as improved remote access to corporate data. For more information about this initiative, watch our video interview with Palm, which is supporting the technology.
