or It's classy. You see it, you want to touch it – and it feels good! It's difficult to describe the way it feels. It's not rubbery like a silicon case, but it's not hard like plastic. It's smooth, and almost soft to the touch. It just makes you want to keep it in your hands. Seidio has done it again. As we accessorize our Treos, this is the little black dress of my Treo's wardrobe.
It is the little black dress in the slinkiest design. This case is so thin the edges are almost even with the sides of the Treo. I can rest my thumb on the side of the case and still depress the keys without any problem. I remember hearing complaints with Seidio's crystal case, that the edges came over just a little far for some big thumbed people to comfortably press the keys. That won't be an issue with this case. It's just that thin. The cutouts are perfect too, as you can see from these photos:
There is a slight scalloping around the bottom in the back, but it is the only area the case doesn't contour exactly to my Treo 700p. There's even a cutout to go with the Seidio Battery Cover with Reset Hole.
I have only one complaint about this little beauty: it was a devil of a time getting on. Perhaps because it is so thin it's difficult to line up the tiny hinge pieces. If you look at these next two photos, you can barely see where the two halves go together.
Even putting the two halves together without the Treo in between, it was difficult getting them to snap together. The fit is so tight with the Treo inside, that it was almost a fight, but one I'm glad I won. Once on, this case will not come off (without some effort on your part), and it does provide protection from the dings and scratches thrown at every Treo in the course of an average day.
While there is no doubt as to the beauty of this case, some of you may be put off by its lack of a belt clip. Not to worry! This case is so thin, it will still slide right inside most holster style cases. Of course, you could always get a cheap "universal belt clip" and put it on the back, but that would detract from the seamless beauty of this case.
In conclusion, even if it were easier to put this case on, I wouldn't ever want to take it off my Treo. Its elegant simplicity gives your Treo a whole new look.

i did some review research...it appears many have had cracking issues. i am high on buying this but if it seems weak in the corners and clips, then i'll have to wait for the fix. it's a bit pricey to have it crack within weeks of normal use. :-(

The new Seidio rubberized black case is indeed nice, but the quality of the first generation of cases leaves much to be desired. I, as well as several others have reported to Seidio (via another Treo forum) issues of breakages after a short term of use. The common denomiator seems to be a faulty bottom left corner clip. Seidio claims that breakages for this case are "rare", but the number of complaints in the other forum say otherwise. I for one am still awaiting for Seidio to address my reported breakage issue. Again, I really like the case but until Seidio either improves the design or inproved their quality control, I could not recommend this case to anyone else.

The case DOES look great. Does it provide the same "anti-slip" properties that their rubberized cases provide? I have one of them for my 650 and love it. If this one does the same for my new 700p, then I'm all over it.

This case looks great. Will it fit in the Palm cradle and the Seidio Car mount system with the case on? If so, I'll order right away. These accessories are key for me and what ever, if anything, is on my 700p it still must fit in these units.
Thanks for the review.

The reason I love my Javoskin is that it has a place for a lanyard (wrist) strap. It is little thicker than I'd like but I have had the same one fro a year and a half and it is just like new.
I will definately buy another...just don't know what my next device will be.

Basically, this is a plastic mold with a coating over it. The case seems rather cheap to me based on the price that I paid. Definitely NOT worth the $$$.
The phone in this case does NOT fit in the Palm cradle. Not sure about the Seidio Car mount.
Other CONS - no cut-out for an external antenna...had to drill that out myself as I travel and need an externa antenna
As far as slipping goes, I wish it had a little more 'grip' to it. It's better than the phone itself, but not by much.
The couple of good things that I'll say about it so far, is that the case is superthin compared (not much bulk) with others and it has protected the phone against a drop.

With the superslim rubberized case, the Treo still fits in the Seidio Innodock cradle.

Looks gnarly. Wish it were tougher. Mine looked cool right up until the time it fell off because it had broken at two corners. Trying to worm an RMA# out of Seidio, but that ain't easy.
