Prima Case Jacket

Prima Cases has a great year planned for Treo owners. The newly redesigned Prima Case Jacket is an early offering designed for all Treo flavors.

Open at the top, the Prima Case Jacket leaves room for you to tap the volume up key on the side to silence ringers. The top of your Treo is completely accessible so that you can easily slide the mute switch off or on. There is enough room left at the bottom of the case for a wired headset, if you choose to use one.

The exceptionally nice thing about this case is the belt clip. It is permanently attached to the case, so you know you won’t wind up with a clip on your belt but no Treo. The clip is as flat to the back of the case as possible for a spring hinge clip, and swivels 90 degrees in two directions to accommodate both righties and lefties.

Black stitching accents the smooth black leather on all sides. The sides have elastic panels so there’s plenty of give, although probably not enough to accommodate the new high capacity batteries. The inside is padded, so there’s no chance of scratching your Treo. In addition, you can’t detect the belt clip’s rivets through the lining. The only exception to the total smoothness of the inside is Prima’s metal emblem.

If you like pouch style holsters, Prima’s Case Jacket is an exceptionally well made choice. It will keep you company as you grow through the Treo line, from the 600 to the 750, whatever your preference.

  1. All these Treo cases are missing small pouch(es) to carry additional memory cards.

  2. I agree with inpixels, but more importantly a pouch for a memory card could also be used for sim cards for those that travel or live in two places. Such a simple idea, I have had to take mine to a boot maker to add a pouch. Where do industrial designers go to school, or do they even have a cell phone or digital camera?

  3. Does anyone know if the 650 with egrips will fit into the new Prima jacket pouch case?

  5. I use a similar case and found that after the case has been used away and the pouch rotates, the Treo can slip out. (Mine hit the ground from about 4 feet up onto concrete, and believe it or not, the Treo was undamaged and fully functional other than a few dents in the plastic case) I’ve since glued the clip so it can no longer rotate.

  6. I bought one of these and so far I like it. However they didn’t create openings at the bottom of the case to connect a charger or headphones. You have to take it out of the case which is a really stupid design flaw IMO.
